V&A
On Thursday I went to the V&A to see some exhibitions that are on at the moment.
'ISOTYPE: International Picture Language', was about the history of the International System Of TYpographic Picture Education and it's initiator Otto Neurath. The system was designed to communicate information to a wide audience and was innovative in that it used simplified pictures to represent information. The pieces that I saw were so precise, and beautifully letter pressed/linocut printed.
I also had a look at the exhibition, 'Underground Journeys: Charles Holden's Designs for London Transport.' Although this was mostly about the architecture of the Underground, it was still relevant to one of the projects I am working on at the moment; creating a new information system for tube station platforms.

A new thing
So I have decided to create a blog for myself to share my work, my thoughts and the things that inspire me. A bit of a scrapbook if you like. It's a new thing for me and I'm not sure how it will work out, but let's see!
